Tapas by the river in Derby. We have been to all three venues of this independent business. This has to be their best location and the food to match. Dog friendly outside.
Was taken here for Birthday and food excellent..not been for tapas for a while..worth the wait and the drive ..
Beautiful restaurant with very delicious food. Great atmosphere Very professional and friendly staff. Lots of car parking space. Highly recommended
Absolutely outstanding – I truly can’t fault a thing. The location is stunning, set right by the river, and to my surprise, there were hardly any flies at all! The food was some of the tastiest I’ve had in a long time – every dish was full of flavour. Service was impeccable, with Lucy being especially fantastic – super friendly and always smiling. I’ll definitely be recommending this place to all my friends and family, and I’m already looking forward to coming back very soon! All I can say is – I would’ve happily paid more! The pricing was incredibly reasonable, especially considering the exceptional service, delicious food, and stunning riverside location we enjoyed.
The venue is relaxing and the food is nice without doubt. The cocktail I had matching with everything, it surprises me much. All we ordered was tapas and bread, we got pretty chill vibe. Cocktail probably made of whiskey and some smoky air to enhance the sense of aromatic, the taste is fresh as I recalled. Personally, I love the omelette with potatoes and fresh olive, which is not soaked in brine that the waiter told us so. I did feel a bit different and do believe these are fresh and juicy. The black olives are mild, this is the first time I realised black olives are mild indeed. The duck with potatoes stack is a highlight as well, potatoes are creamy but layered, the duck made me feel like cooked with quite a long time to make it tender.
Best sangria I’ve ever had! Really sweet location next to the river. We didn’t book and just came for drinks and got a seat straight away. The staff were nice. Definitely coming back for more sangria!!
This is the best food I've eaten in England. I'm Spanish and since I've lived here, it's been difficult to eat well, but this place was recommended to me and without a doubt, it brought me back to my homeland. The flavors of each bite were spectacular. The restaurant's decor is beautiful. I will definitely come back and try more things. 5/5
